Not a lot to say here beyond this:

yum install filezilla

It works. Finally – an SSL-capable, graphical FTP client for Scientific Linux/Centos/whatever….. Wahoo. I guess it can done from a command line but, as I recall, it was quite involved and I gave up on trying to make it work.
