I’ve got an older MagicJack and the thing has worked great, for years. It’s the kind which has to be plugged into a computer and the thing has always worked well, and, it’s saved me a fortune in long distance charges. But, a year or so ago I’d get an error the first time I’d plug it into a computer. It turned out that there was a required upgrade, but, the upgrade failed unless the existing MagicJack program files were deleted in a particular way. There was an un-installer available on the MagicJack web site but the thing has since disappeared. Anyway, I thought I’d post the files here for myself and anyone else who might find them useful. After plugging in your MagicJack, just run the un-installer and then run the upgrade package. Bada-boom, bada-bing – your MagicJack works again.
