This is an updated version of my Apache install (with MySQL and PHP) for Windows XP. It includes an optional update of PHP to version 5.3. I also recommend that virtually all files in the php folder, and the “ext” sub-directory, be copied to C:\WINDOWS and C:\WINDOWS\system32. The included php.ini file includes some corrections and – just for the record – has an upload limit of 1000 megabyte and a date.timezone value of America/New_York.
