Nicolette Larson had a beautiful voice and a natural beauty – both of which I always found mesmerizing. Sadly, she passed away at a fairly young age – just 45 – from complications arising from a cerebral edema, triggered by liver failure. According to reports, Nicolette suffered from insomnia and depression and self-medicated herself with large amounts of Valium, Tylenol PM, etc. The toxic effects of the drugs damaged her liver, leading to her death. She is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood and her grave bears the simple marker, seen below.
The inscription reads:

July 17th, 1952 – December 16th, 1997
