Thunderbird for Windows, versions and downloads

Why did I Make This Page?

I really like the Thunderbird email client from Mozilla. On Windows the configuration and data folders are all stored in one place (C:\Users\Usernname\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird) and can easily be copied and moved to a new installation. In other words, you can migrate your Thunderbird setup from install to another with relative ease.

Thunderbird, once in awhile, can be a bit buggy and a couple of add-ons which I like don’t work with the most recent releases. So, I decided to assemble a few different versions, a simple backup script I wrote for the data file (works on Windows 7 and Windows 8 – you need p7zip installed), etc. for download. I also included the two add-ons I use. Just a little something for myself – that’s it.
